How to film yourself at home.

Sometimes when working to capture patient stories it's not always possible to get you physically on location in front of our professional cameras. So, I made a short video in my living room as the next best option. Feel free to click the image above to check it out! It’s a simple guide to help you record your testimonial at home—easy and low-pressure, even if cameras make you nervous.

Here’s the basics:

  • Setup: Find a quiet spot with soft window light, prop your phone at eye level, and use the back lens (not the selfie cam) for better quality.

  • Filming: Record one long take sharing your experience naturally—we’ll edit it later.

To help you tell your story, think about these points:

  1. Start with your name and how long you’ve been a patient.

  2. What brought you in for treatment?

  3. How was your life being affected by your condition?

  4. How did you hear about the practice?

  5. What attracted you to this provider?

  6. How was the treatment experience?

  7. How do you feel now?

  8. Will you continue treatment?

  9. Would you recommend this practice to a friend?

  10. Did anything surprise you about your experience?

I shot this fast at home, so you can too—no fancy setup needed. Check out the video and give it a go—we’d love to hear your story!
